Don’t know what to say

Hey all,

No update on me I’m afraid, these last few days have been manic. My dear friend’s husband has had a massive heart attack (dad of my honorary nephew who helps me to cook sometimes) and is currently in hospital.

It’s not looking good, he was put into an induced coma, then started looking a bit positive, mostly breathing on his own, body controlling it’s own temperature and blood pressure, yesterday there was even some arm and leg movement.

Unfortunately there was then a lot of thrashing about, so he was put back into a coma.

This afternoon there will be some tests on brain function, and then the way my friend was speaking, decisions to be made.

I wish I could do more.

As you can imagine, I’m supporting my friend and her family as much as possible, so thoughts to immediate health are out of the window.

I’ll drop in again when I can.

Just in case that’s not until after Christmas, my love and good wishes to you all and your loved ones.
