25th Oct 2019 – a good food day, an exercise rest day.

Evening all. The weekend is here… YAY!!!

My back is very uncomfortable today, so I’ve decided to have a rest day.

Work has been continuous again. I much prefer that than quiet days, and we’ve had a lot of quiet days recently. So this week has been good, but I’m tired now.

So to business…

Food – 28g natural nuts, 160g fruit.

Went to lunch with mum and stayed strong, mostly, there was a sneaky roll and butter.

Dinner was Friday healthier fish and chips.

Amy also invited herself for dinner, celebrating being back in work, she had one of our weekend salads and hard boiled eggs.

Fluids – 200ml milk, .5l water, 3cups of tea. Pepsi max, A small, celebratory glass of choc Bailey’s.

Looking forward to weigh in tomorrow. I feel this week has been good, I’m hoping to lose 1.5lbish.

I have some loose plans for the weekend, 1 walk, at least 1 exercise programme, salad preparation, attempt cauliflower pizza base, visit friend, catch up with reading your wonderful posts, relax. Cry on Sunday night, thinking about work 🀣

Hope you all have a lovely weekend 🀩

  1. Your plates look beautiful! I tried to go back and figure out what diet you are following – what are you doing? And how long have you been doing it? I saw some of your earlier posts and you look AMAZING! Super proud of your success so far!

    1. Thank you 😁. I’ve been doing this since mid June time and lost 19lb so far, so no great shakes, but I’m aiming to lose on average 1 – 2lb each week. The weight I’ve lost is practically all fat, so thats pleasing. I’m not following a specific plan, but being guided by NHS guidelines. I started by making sure I cut out processed foods, eating lean meats, increasing fruit and veg and adding nuts and beans to diet, then slowly modified it to cutting out sugar in my my tea, trying to increase fluid (Work in progress) and incorporating exercise. As for exercise, I started on a 10 minute step programme a couple of times a week, and have progressed to intense (for me) 37min cardio, and strength training almost every day. My foods been tweaked as I go on, I’m still not regularly getting my dairy intake, but it’s better than I used to be, and I’m low on carbs, again a work in progress. My ultimate aim is to walk up Snowdon next summer 😊. Thank you for your lovely words, I truly believe I am so invested in myself because of such comments and support here on WordPress 😊
