10th Jan 2020 – an okish day

Hey all, First and foremost, a belated HAPPY NEW YEAR to you 🍾

So, catch up post done and dusted earlier today, it’s time now to get back to routine…. for blog posts at least 🀣

I had today off work, our home was a mess! Now it looks homely again. I also wanted to get reacquaint myself with this community, something I’ve missed terribly. I feel so much better now having dedicated some time to it.

My mum’s currently in New Zealand, visiting one of my cousins, so I didn’t go to lunch, and I hadn’t thought ahead so food was a bit off today.

Anyway, here’s my food for today. Breakfast 40g mixed nuts, 90g mixed dried fruits. Lunch was 2 hard boiled eggs and 2 small cheeses.

For regular readers you’ll note I’ve upped my nuts, this is because we’re recommended to have 28g a day, but I rarely have them during the weekend, hence the increase.

i had a shock when chowing down on one of my cheeses! I was eating absent mindedly as I was typing up my previous post, and then had to fan my tongue…. it was a mexicana! I don’t do spice!

And then various chocolates throughout the afternoon.

Dinner was oven cooked lightly dusted fish with oven cooked chips. Tasty but missing veggies.

So not a great day for fruit and veg, only 3 portions, the emergency cheeses have been my only sauce of dairy, so I’m not annoyed I had them.

There will be a couple more chocs later.

I can’t stand the milk I’ve currently got, it’s skimmed, it’s nasty! However I’ve battled through enough to almost run out, so no glass of milk this morning, but a couple of cups of tea. 2 glasses of water, 1 can of Pepsi max, and 2 glasses of Bailey’s! I know! But I was emptying a bottle!

Exercise has been good relative to the last few weeks, I did an 11 minute cardio, and the stretching programme. With the exercising and housework, my new fit watch tells me I’ve down 94 minutes of moderate activity and 17 minutes of vigorous exercise. So this is something I am very pleased with today.

So that’s it from me for now, I’ll update again tomorrow, with a ticket from Boots scales hopefully (last week the paper had run out!). Last week I weighed 15stone 6lb, given the HUGE quantity of chocs I’m eating, I’m nervous about tomorrow’s weigh in, hey ho, tis what it is.
