4th Sept 2019 – fab healthy eating day and walk

Not a bad nights sleep last night, felt quite perky during the day. It’s so debilitating when I have bad nights, I go through days as constantly tired and in a fog. But not today 👍

I also applied for a job, completely different to my usual type of role, and have an interview on Friday. I won’t say anymore, don’t want to jinx it.

So, on to the reason for my blog 😊

Started the day with a cup of tea and my usual food, and as I was working from home I took a pic.

I had about a litre of water and a glass of milk throughout the day.

Then my salad. I won’t be using the bag of rocket, spinach and watercress again, at least not the Tesco one, Paul’s right (don’t let him know I said that 😉) there’s too much stalk with the watercress. And there was quite a bit of leaf wiltage, which is disappointing as we still have a days salad to go. Still tasted good though.

And then for dinner, chicken breast cooked in herby maggi paper (brilliant stuff), boiled potatoes, frozen sprouts and fresh cauliflower. I always find boiled spuds need loads of butter and salt, but today I had a bit of sweet chilli sauce, loved it 😋

Then we went for a walk, with a stop at the supermarket for more water. The walk took about 45 minutes.

And now I’m sitting here, looking at my Greek yoghurt with seeds and honey. Can’t wait to tuck in. YUM!

And last but not least, another glass of water.

So, that was my day. Hope yours has also been a good day. Tada for now.
