How did that happen! Weight loss success!

My goodness! Considering how rubbish I felt I had done this week, I can not believe how much weight I’ve lost! 5lb this week people… 5lb!

Only 27lb more to go until Christmas 🤣

I guess by trying to counter calories this week, I’ve managed to keep a deficit going.

On thinking back, I’ve swapped out my healthy nutritional food for my treats, cake and chocolate, oh and a tipple.

I also finished my period this week, so that would have accounted for some bloating on last week’s weigh in.

And I have exercised every single day. Even today, I’m writing to you from a park after a heart rate raising 45ish minute walk.

I’m so glad I swapped out foods this week, but I have to tell you, I’m missing all my healthy foods. And I was quite hungry on those days. Only tonight to go, steak and alcohol will be involved!

It just goes to show, when I think I’m not doing well, carry on trying, don’t give up – there still might be a nice surprise at the weigh-in!

  1. Ooooh, that’s an interesting question! my second favourite healthy would be mussels, which I haven’t had in ages – the other half isn’t that keen 🙂 second favourite non healthy food is lamb – kleftiko style – which I only cook on special occassions! how about you?

      1. I initially lost 90 pounds in the year after my husband passed. I kept it off for quite some time but then I had a whole lot of stress in my life and of course my stress response is eating so the weight has been creeping back on. But the house has sold and I think I’ve found a place for my boys and the stress should be much less soon, maybe one week.

      2. That’s a whole lot to be dealing with. I’m sorry for your loss. I can imagine how relieved you’ll be when you and your lads will be settled, hopefully just a week or two to go 🤗. If losing weight is a goal for you, I would recommend starting a blog, I’ve found it incredibly helpful, The unexpected benefit is the accountability!
