Hey all, hope those of you who are suffering with various allfictions are feeling a bit better.
Where do I start….
How about straight after my last post. Yes, I think to explain now I need to back track.
Not long after posting my blog post last night I had a text from my friend. Needless to say I went round straight away with much needed hugs, hand holding and a listening ear.
I stayed with Angela until about 11.30pm, having a cuppa and a glass of water.
Climbing into bed was welcome, however between bed at midnight and getting up at 7am, I had to go to the loo ELEVEN times. I got up knackered.
My saving grace should have been that I was working from home. My normal Wednesday routine is to use my lunch time to do exercises. Yesterday daytime I had told Angela I could take her to Next for her suit, this would take care of my lunch time. Last night we rearranged to take her this evening rather than daytime due to a meeting with undertakers.
So this morning I decided I would get my head down for an hour at lunch time instead.
Then Katie called!
The car had broken down!!!!
She had next to no charge on her phone, and apparently she doesn’t have recovery on her insurance, which we are all sure she did. a problem to sort out another day. but in the meantime I had a panicky Katie to deal with, so I called a breakdown company and arranged recovery, told Katie to stick her phone on power saving.
Two hours later I used my lunch break to drive to the garage I’d arranged recovery to, paid the man, helped Katie book the car in, and get Katie home.
It’s Paul’s birthday today, so I cooked a nice dinner, then left him to clear up while I took Angela to Next.
It’s now 8.10pm and I’m back home feeling frazzled.
Paul liked his pressies, I got him (And me) Ed Byrne tickets, he’s one of our favourite comedians! I also bought him a DNA kit…. though I’ll be gutted if he has more Neanderthal DNA than me π€£π€£π€£π€£ ill keep you posted.
I am really looking forward to bed.
So to business…
Food – 40g natural nuts, 90g dried fruits, and 1 hard boiled egg.

Prawn salad for lunch

Venison steak (A very healthy and tasty meat, all green on the traffic lights), mushrooms cooked with a knob of salted butter and oven ready herby sweet potato fries.

A bit of chocolate, savoured slowly!
Fluids – 2 glasses of water, 4 cups of tea and 1 can of Pepsi max.
Exercise – so I had planned to do 3 x 5 minute exercises, to include running on spot, side to side exercises, push ups and ‘running up and down the stairs, this would have allowed me to have a guilt free sleep at lunch time. Katie called after I had done one.
So here is my embarrassing exercise record for the day.

With luck, I’ll get a good night’s sleep and hopefully feel better tomorrow. I’m not sure about exercise yet as we need to take Angela and Luke to matalans to get a suit for Luke.
Anyway, I’m going to say teddy bye for now. Night π€
