25th March – not a bad day.

Hey all, hope you are safe and well.

My mum’s feeling worse tonight, high temperature again and feel very drained. Luckily no cough or breathing issues.

As for me… my mouth is beginning to hurt quite a bit, I am going to have to go to boots tomorrow to pick up the things I need.

My period is kind of happening! Certainly lots of cramping and general pains

Mood is quite low.

I feel very tired this evening, despite a great nights sleep… I only remember getting up twice! No pic as my watch was charging overnight.

I’ll call my Amy in a bit as her anxiety is through the roof at the moment.

Katie has been a love, shopping and taking stuff to me and mum.

Paul and I definitely do not have the virus. Yet.

An interesting thing, I didn’t weigh last Saturday and will not this Saturday, it is not essential. So I’ve been weighing every morning on my home scales.

The home scales are a few lb off the scales I normally use. I’ve noticed that I’ve gone up by .2 lb every day. I’m not surprised or disappointed.

Our food at the moment is not perfect, but it’s as good as we can make it under the circumstances. My main focus at this point is making sure we get plenty of fruit and veg.

Exercise is not brilliant either. So my focus here is to make sure I do some cardio every day and strength three times a week.

My thoughts are, this takes pressure off myself when there’s not too much I can do about the situation – corona or period.

So on to the details.

Fluid – about 4 teas, 2 glasses of water, 1 glass Pepsi max.

Food – 40g natural nuts, 90g dried fruits (that’s three portions, probably too much sugar, but lots of nutrients) and 1 cheese portion.

Paul made lunch, pasta, a bit of chorizo, onion, passata and pasta, topped with about a portion of cheese.

.

Paul also made dinner, tinned ham and fresh mushroom omelette with potato salad and the remains of salad.

Exercise – cardio programme this morning.

This evening, given lack of virus symptoms and low mood, we decided to go for a walk. We only passed a few people, I’m shocked how 2 couples we passed didn’t bother to move to the other side of the path, didn’t even go single file! Paul and j most certainly did! I’ll be honest people, I made sure I coughed loud and hard as they passed (into my elbow, not at them) so maybe next time they’ll give other people they pass a very wide berth! The other people we passed were not think or arrogant, there were wide berths and friendly smiles… thank God!

The walk itself felt hard going. But it did me the world of good.

So that’s me people. Speak tomorrow.

Stay safe.
