It occurred to me today that this is approximately the same number weeks that my motivation during health journeys begins to wane, regardless of success or failure. So with everything else that’s been going on, my own natural motivation drop was just the straw that broke the camel’s back.
However, I’m feeling the slump was just a small glitch this time round, and feel motivated again to carry on. As such today has been a good day…. bar the weigh in 🤣
Speaking of which, as expected, there was a gain, shockingly 2lb on, didn’t expect that much. Never mind, I’m still 8lb down, which is still good 👍

We had five beans baked beans on toast for breakfast, and healthier fish and chips for dinner.


We’ll be having a Greek yoghurt later.
Unfortunately no fruit or veg, other than the blackberries we picked while on our walk.


We did a 2.5 mile walk in a local country park. The weather was lovely, warm, not hot. Occasional drops of rain, and sunshine. Pics below.







We have also had a pack each of oven cooked cheesy bites.
Anyway, I feel pleased with today. And better than that, I feel confident I will continue in a good way.

We all have moments where things don’t quite go as planned. That’s normal. It’s how you react. You’ve reacted brilliantly and are right back on it again! Great effort with the 8lb loss!
