Hey all, hope you are safe and well.
I have felt more like my normal self today, more positive, more enthused.
Today has been quite a good day, my lovely daughter spoilt me, a beautiful card with such wonderful words. Some chocs, gorgeous flowers and some jimjams!
The best present of course was that we stayed a good couple of metres apart!
We then popped round to my mum, again the best present I gave to mum was to keep a good couple of metres distance, however she absolutely loved her focaccia loaf and bakewell tart, along with a card from me.
She also loved Amy’s gift of chocs and a garden wall ornament! Then mum shocked Amy by giving her a gift. Mum had been going through lots of photos, and had picked 3, each one with one of the grandchildren and my late step dad. Then mum had the photos printed professionally on photo paper, and framed each one for each of the children.
It was an emotional and beautiful moment.
On returning home I sorted out breakfast for myself and Paul, beans on toast!
Then Paul prepped dinner, slow cooker curry and cleaned the kitchen, down to the floor, while I did housework everywhere else. Great teamwork š
Then people, then we went for a walk! I am so pleased we went out! The day was beautiful! And I can finally add exercise back to my post!
We did pass a couple if people, but we all gave each other a wide berth.

We’ve just finished dinner, and it was lovely š

I am disappointed about my lack of exercise, but I am not disheartened. It was a glitch, I have them every now and again. That is absolutely no reason to give up on my goals, no reason to think these last few days are all my journey is š
Onwards and upwards…
Let the journey continue…
Goals to be worked on…
