2nd April – first bit of exercise in a week!

Evening all, hoping you are well.

Not much to talk about again today. Work was work.

I’m still dealing with the monthly! Getting very, very bored of it now!

I am in quite a bit of discomfort at times during the day, I worry because these particular pains are similar to, but not as bad as some severe pains I had a couple of years ago. That time in my life was an extremely low point for me, and I don’t want to be there again. I’m hoping it will disappear with the end of my period.

Had a lovely catch up with my mum and sister on video call last night. Mum’s looking and sounding so much better!

My poor sister looks knackered (still beautiful!) She’s an IT manager in the school system, so right now she’s got a lot on with trying to keep the teachers going from home. And with two littleuns… well!

Confession time!

There is a reason for two… and it has nothing to do with sharing πŸ˜†

Paul and I looked at each other when we passed the hot cross buns at the shops, we both knew we had failed in our resolve at that point!

And then we discovered the healthier option!

Now we didn’t want to risk buying healthier buns and not liking them… so we bought both πŸ˜†

So this evening we had one of each to compare! It was a great experiment!

Conclusion: the smaller less healthier option was slightly sweeter. However… the bigger, healthier option was absolutely fine! If we find ourselves wordlessly dumping a pack in the trolley again, it will be the healthier ones!

Right, on to the info!

Sleep – Great! Not as much sleep as I would like, but with only one loo stop, more solid sleep!

Fluid – 3 cups of tea, 1 glass of water, 200ml of milk later this evening.

Food – 40g natural nuts, 90g dried fruit, tuna (in water) mayo (lighter than light) jacket spud for lunch. I added some sweet chilli to it as well.

For dinner Paul cooked a chilli. I don’t think he was very impressed with it, it was on the soggy side, but it tasted lovely! It felt like a healthy, hearty meal!

Exercise – I am pleased that today I have actually done some exercise. It was not a great walk in terms of speed or distance, but it was exercise nonetheless.

There we are, that’s my day. A couple of great positives – water, exercise and sleep

Stay well folks.

  1. Congrats on getting some exercise done! Though I did walk each day this week, today was the first time going on the elliptical for me.

I’m also glad you tried the healthier buns and they turned out pretty good.

  2. Sorry to hear about your monthlies. I feel your pain. Mine get more and more excruciating as I get older. When the doctors are back to normal I’m going to go back, again.

I can think of one bad walk – close to the end of a long walk, we ended up in a field full of cows! Petrified! we had to turn back πŸ˜€
