My eyes – day 20/21 – product trial

Evening all, we are nearly at the end of the trial. Tomorrow is the day I tell you the product name.

I don’t mind telling you I’ll be relieved! I’m way too lazy for beauty routines, but who knows I might change 😁

So here’s my pics for today, do let me know if you see any improvement in either of the baggy eyes from pic 1 to pic 2, and if no difference.

Brace yourselves, here comes my face!

Day 20/21

Thank you as ever 😊

30th Oct 2019 – a good food and exercise day.

Good evening all, hope you are all well.

Today has been a mixed bag at work, but at least today was hump day!

My coccyx and stomach are making me reach for tablets today. Roll on menopause! Unfortunately I think I’ve got a while yet, I’ve been as regular as clockwork this last year, just with monthly pains I never used to get, ie my damn coccyx!

Oh, and I have to tell you, I paid, big time for the custard last night, the loo and I were acquainted very well 🤣

Anyway, enough of that, time to give my daily run down.

Food – 28g natural nuts, 240g fruit which included kiwi – very scrummy!, 1 hard boiled egg, my salad.

For dinner Paul cooked liver and bacon, as you’ll probably know by now, I love this dish, Paul cooks it beautifully, and it’s a real comfort food for me. And a great iron hit, just when it’s needed!

And we’ve got Greek yoghurt with seeds and honey for supper.

Fluid – NO fizzy! 200ml lactose free milk, 1 litre of water, 3cups of tea.

Exercise – 37min intensive cardio.

So that’s my day, intending to continue my mindful drinking tomorrow, there’s no need for the fizzy!

Night all. Speak tomorrow

Snap Shot – My Daily Food

Hey All, it’s Wednesday, I’m working from home, thought I’d use the opportunity to show you my day-time food.

I have just a couple of rules – Eat nuts first – full of protein, helps to keep me full. TRY to save salad until about 1ish – I absolutely love my salad, so it’s hard to resist it!

Other than that no real rules as to when I should eat. FYI – I’m never hungry 🙂

Variety is the spice of life, so I usually have different types of nuts in my 28g, different fruits for my fruits, and the salad is a bag of loads of stuff.

A good mix of proteins, dairy, fruit and veg (almost 7 portions in this pic, sometimes 6).

Bye for now 🙂

REBLOG – Q is for QUANTITY — Moving Forward…At My Speed

Hey all, I love WordPress, not only does it keep me accountable on my health changes, but it provides me with the opportunity to connect with other people. Here is a post I read this morning which I found so inspiring! Sarendse16 writes lovely upbeat posts about his lifestyle journey, to check out his blog, please click here.

One of the big focusses of Weigh-Less is the importance of your quantities/portions. This was the problem with my diet. I wouldn’t eat during the day and would be ravenous at night and eat pretty much anything in sight, which explains the mystery arrival of a second chin and additional belly. I would eat the […]

Day 19/21

Any way, that’s enough of my face for today 😂

Thanks as ever.

29th Oct 2019 – a goodish food day, a nice family evening

Hey all,

A good productive work day again today, although I do have a few crappy things going on, you know the sort of thing that takes loads of emails and calls before a thing gets sorted!

I’ll be honest, my work day isn’t usually this chock a block full, I can usually spend a bit of time looking into something interesting and write a post on it. I also get odd blocks of time where I can read a few other posts. Right now I feel like I’m have WordPress withdrawal symptoms!

Anyway, enough of my whinging. Let me tell you about my day.

This evening has been filled with Amy, Katie and Carly, a nice dinner, a naughty impromptu desert, and the GBBO final.

Why do youngsters hate photos? 🤣

So, to business

During the day I had my usual, 28g natural nuts, 160g fruit, 1 hard boiled egg, salad. I also had a rice cake.

For dinner we had chicken cooked in a Maggie bag with peppers, mushrooms and garlic, oven cooked spuds and shallots, steamed posh cauliflower, sugar snaps and tenderstem broccoli. I forgot the pic.

I was bullied, mercilessly, for lack if dessert, so we also had a bowl of custard!

Fluid – 200ml milk, no water, 5 cups of tea, 1 can Pepsi max.

Exercise – none.

Anyway, nor much else to say other than my digestive system is complaining, presumably against the custard!

So I’ll sign off for now! Night 😊

28th Oct 2019 – I have an excuse!

Hi all.

Ok, I need to give a bit of background before I hit you with my food!

Right now my mum should be in South Africa, singing and doing safaris. A couple of weeks ago when visiting mum she burst into tears, what with everything going on she had not sorted out her jabs. No trip for mum 😔.

This was going to be her first non family visiting trip since my wonderful step dad died a couple of years ago.

My sister and I suggested a really nice meal out, something to take the sting away.

So that’s what we did.

Now we decided on the local steak house because both mum and Chelle (My sister) liked the sound of the steak Paul and I had shared for my birthday. They were not disappointed. And all three of us had a lovely evening.

So for dinner this evening we shared olives and bread and oil to start, chateabriand steak, chips, tomatoes, lettuce, and then there was a choc pud. I did have diet coke though.

I don’t feel guilty, some things are more important than a days worth of dieting. Giving mum a little piece of happiness was worth every mouthful.

Besides…. My digestive system is making me suffer!!! 🤣

The rest of the day was good, usual nuts, fruit, salad and egg.

Fluid – 200ml milk, .5l water, 4 cups of tea, 2 glasses of diet coke.

Exercise – because some idiot blocked my car in today, I worked from home, annoyingly because I was busy, and could have done with my other screens! This meant I was able to do some cardio and strength training in my lunch break, and I walked very quickly (running late) to mum’s.

So that’s my day, looking forward to getting back to routine tomorrow.

Bye for now.
